Captain Jeffrey Ng is the Commanding Officer of 2947 RCACC. He is a graduate of the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia, with a double specialization in Human Resources Management and Business Technology Management.

Captain Ng first served as a cadet with 2947 in 2004, and graduated from the program in September 2010 as the Regimental Sergeant Major of the Corps. During his time as a cadet, he attended the Drill and Ceremonial Instructor Course and staffed as the Alpha Group Sergeant Major of the Training Centre.


He enrolled as an Officer in the Cadet Instructor Cadre in 2012, and held the positions of Platoon Commander, Drill Team Coach, and Training Officer before assuming command of the Corps in 2016.

Captain Ng is passionate about developing leaders who can not only think on their feet, but can apply critical thinking and experience to situations in school or in the workplace. He also believes that fitness is a crucial aspect of training. Captain Ng holds a black belt in Taekwondo from the World Taekwondo Headquarters in South Korea, a black belt in Goju-ryu Karate from the Japan Karate Federation, and a blue belt in Brazilian Jiujitsu.

Outside of work with 2947, Captain Ng is an Human Resources professional currently employed with Electronic Arts Canada.
